Log in to your Business Centre at app.salonscale.com and select "Reports" from the navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen. Select if you would like to view Color Lines, Extensions or Add on Reports.

Each backbar category will provide you with a report on Color Usage (Color Line Report), Stylist Report, and Client Report. Select which report you would like to view in the business center.

Filter the data range you wish to view on the right-hand side.

Your color line report will show you all the details about which products have been used within a date range. Each sub-brand will show you both the Revenue (your wholesale cost + markup) and your Profit (amount generated from the markup).

To view more details about a sub-brand or look for a specific product, select "view all". This will provide you with a breakdown of each product. You will now be able to see used, unused, and wasted products within your selected date range.

Used: see the amount of each product used (ex. 0.63 tubes), the revenue (wholesale cost + markup), and profit (amount generated from markup alone).

Unused: see which products have not been used within a line (Hot Tip: Run these annually to see what adjustments you can make to your inventory going forward)

Wasted: see the amount of waste from each product including the amount (grams/ ounces), % of bowl, and dollar value.

If you have a team account, your stylist report will show you all your stylists and the amount of product they have used within your selected date range. Beside each stylist's name, you will see both Revenue (your wholesale cost + markup) and your Profit (amount generated from the markup).

Usage: shows you the total amount of product used but wholesale cost, price (total revenue generated), and markup revenue.

To get a more detailed view for a specific stylist, click "View all". See the amount of each product used broken down by each product (ex. 0.63 tubes), the revenue (wholesale cost + markup), and the profit (amount generated from markup alone).

Waste: view the total waste created by each stylist by amount (grams/ ounces), the % of products mixed that go to waste, and the associated dollar value. Learn more about stylist waste reports.

Client Report

Your client report will show you all your clients and the number of products they have used within your selected date range. Besides each client name, you will see both Revenue (your wholesale cost + markup) and your Profit (amount generated from the markup).

To view more details about a client, select "view all". This view will provide you a breakdown See a list of all sessions for that client within the selected date range to view more details (ex. formula, date of visit, total cost).

Revenue will show you the total of your wholesale cost + markup and you Profit will who you only the amount generated from the markup. To find your wholesale cost simply subtract your Profit from your Revenue

Example:

Wholesale cost = $10.86 ($21.73-$10.87 = $10.86)

Markup= 100%
