Sometimes, there are updates to a product's firmware between when it was manufactured and when the end consumer is using it. This is a reference to help you ensure your Acaia scale's firmware is the most current.
Head to the AppStore and search Acaia Updater
Locate your model, which can be found on the box or on the underside of the scale contained in the Serial Number. Example: SN:AP007ABCDEFG123
The AP007 is contained in the serial number and is the model number.
Then you will see a screen similar to this. You can tap on "Next"
Tap Connect
Follow the prompts from the app. You must then press the T or Tare button on the scale.
The software will then go through two processes. The first will erase the previous firmware. At this point, there is no action; just allow the app to complete the tasks.
Then it will upload the new firmware to your Acaia scale.
Be patient while the new firmware is uploaded. Once complete, you will see this screen:
Now hit "Done" and you have successfully completed updating your scale's firmware!
