How to Set Quick Start Pricing

Ready to set up your SalonScale account? Quick start pricing is great if you want to jump right into the app and learn all of the features.

Updated over a week ago

If you just started with SalonScale, adding in your backbar pricing is the second step in your setup. There are two options to set your product pricing. You can customize your pricing by adding in your wholesale costs. Or you can auto-add your pricing using our Quick Start option.

The buttons below are what you will see in the Start Guide which will help guide you to setup your account.

Quick start pricing is great for you if you’re looking to jump right into the app, make the session and learn the different features.

If you selected Auto-Add Product Costs, SalonScale will guide you to get set up and teach you how to update your pricing and markup, so you can do so in the future.

After you have selected the “Quick Start Pricing” button in the top right, you will see a pop-up to remind you that quick start pricing is based on the average product cost from other SalonScale customers’ backbars, which may differ from your stocked products.

After you click “I understand”, you will see a pop-up confirming that all of your color lines have product costs associated with them. And you can continue with the rest of your setup.

Remember, you can update your pricing at any time to customize and optimize your backbar pricing. This can be done in the business center, on your mobile device, or tablet.
