Taring a scale is resetting the scale's weight to zero with an empty bowl or capturing the true weight of each product, ensuring you have an accurate final measurement.
We have two types of taring options, Manual Tare, where you have to tare the scale between products. Or Auto tare, which in between measurements the app will automatically tare between measurements.
Setting Your Tare Preference
Select "Profile" found at the bottom of your screen in your mobile app
Select "Settings"
Toggle Automatic Taring to the right to have automatic taring on, or to the left to keep automatic taring off
If you like to tare or zero the scale between each product, keep automatic taring off.
If you like to let measurements add up to display the full weight of the bowl without zeroing the scale, keep automatic taring on.
