Updated over a week ago

To access the ordering feature, you must be in the business center.

On the left-hand side you will find the orders tab.

This version is date based and will order the products used within a time frame. You can also manually create orders or order products based on your backbar targets (order by usage),

Q: How can I use SalonScale to help with my color orders?

A: Our order feature will use the information provided in your product report and provide you with a PDF list of what you should reorder based on how much of your product has been used, which is editable by the admin and exportable to send to a distribution rep, or simply use as a "shopping list" when you head to the supplier. Gone are the days of ripping tabs and saving caps!

Q: How can I create an order with SalonScale?

A:

  • Go to your Business Centre found at app.salonscale.com

  • Select "Orders" from the navigation menu found on the left side of your screen

  • Select the "+ Order" button in the top right-hand corner

  • Select both your product sensitivity limit (ex. trigger to order a new container once 0.25 of the container has been used) as well as your date range (ex. calculate what's been used in the last 14 days) and select "apply"

  • Select the brands you wish to create an order for and select the "Create Order with ____ Brand(s)" button

  • Review the order to make any adjustments necessary. Under each product name, you will find a line that says how many containers have been used (ex. 2.5 tubes of 9-0). The quantity found to the right of each product displays the "suggested reorder amount" based on that usage.

    • To edit the amount, hover over the number to show up and down arrows to adjust

    • To delete the product from the order form, select the "X' beside the quantity

    • To add a product not shown on the list select the "Add Products" button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

  • The estimated total will show you an estimated cost of the order based on the wholesale prices you applied to your products when setting up your color lines

  • To save the order in your Business Centre, ensure the "Save to order history" box is checked

  • Select "Download Order Form" to download a PDF version of your order to forward to your sales rep, or take to the store as your "suggested shopping list"
