To access the ordering feature, you must be in the business center.

This feature is great to reduce the time of counting tabs or doing a count of what products you need for your backbar.

On the left-hand side, you will find the orders tab below reports.

There are 2 ways to create orders. By manually selecting what products you want to re-stock. Or to order by usage, which is when SalonScale creates a list of each product and the quantity needed to meet your set backbar targets.

If you have selected “Add Products Manually”, the next step is to select all of the products

A couple of tips to make this process faster:

  1. Make sure you have it set to only show products with prices attached to them This will filter the view so you can see which products you actually use from your backbar.

  2. Use categories to filter the product types i.e. demis and permanents. This will help you to not have to scroll through as many products.

  3. Use the search bar to find products you're looking for faster.

After you have selected all of the products you want to add, click “add to order” at the bottom of the screen.

From here you can manually add the quantity of each product using the up or down arrow. If you have your targets set for these products and your on-hand quantity set, the app will let you know how much of these products you need.

After you selected the quantity for your order, you can click create order in the top right, and Create Order.

You will also be able to see the estimated cost of your order to help with your backbar budget.

After your order has been created, click on the order created. You will see a full list of the products. You can either download this as a PDF or a CSV. You can use it to either send to your beauty distributor or be a reference check when purchasing products in-store or online.
