To access the ordering feature, you must be in the business center.
This feature is great to reduce the time of counting tabs or doing a count of what products you need for your backbar.
On the left-hand side, you will find the orders tab below reports.
There are 2 ways to create orders. By manually selecting what products you want to re-stock. Or to order by usage, which is when SalonScale creates a list of each product and the quantity needed to meet your set backbar targets. We're going to go over usage-based ordering.
In order to do this version you must have your first on-hand count and your backbar targets set.
If you selected “Add Products by Usage” the first thing you will see is the list of Color Lines with products that are currently not meeting your targets. Select which brands and lines you would like to include in your order. After you have made your selection, click “Add Brands”
From here you will see a list of products to order and the recommended quantity,
You can adjust your order using the up and down arrows.
Tip: refer to the on-hand and targets which are listed below the product's name. If you notice that a product’s on hand and the target is close, you may choose to not include it in your order if you feel you want to let the quantity stock decrease. Or you can adjust your backbar targets for that product after you have completed your order.
You can also manually add additional products to this form. To do so, click “Add Products Manually’ in the top right and search or filter for the desired products.
After you have completed your order selection. Click “Create Order” in the top right corner.
You will also be able to see the estimated cost of your order to help with your backbar budget.
After your order has been created, click on the order created. You will see a full list of the products. You can either download this as a PDF or a CSV. You can use it to either send to your beauty distributor or be a reference check when purchasing products in-store or online.
